Order The appeal of this case presented two issues: (1) whether a warrantless search by parole officers violated the appellant's federal and state constitutional rights; and (2) whether it was error to introduce evidence of his previous drug-related offenses during the guilt phase of his trial. The original Opinion, entered on November 8, 1990, upheld the permissibility of the search and also held introduction of the evidence in the guilt phase was error, but not reversible error in this case. The Court applied its ruling on the second issue only prospectively.
